Hi,
the EAP file and documents in the attached archive demonstrate the following steps:
  1. Created a new EA model (UnintendedProfileChanges.eap)
  2. Created 2 packages:
    • one with a component diagram and 2 components
    • one empty package
  3. Created a new document, which doesn't contain any profiles
  4. Added Package 1 to a new section; eaDocX automatically creates profiles for Component, Document Information, Package and Term.
The automatically generated Package profile contains: Description, Diagrams, Children
  5. Changed the Package profile by removing the Diagrams and generated the document (IntendedProfileChanges.docx)
  6. Added Package 2 to a new section at the end of the document by selecting "Extensions -> eaDocX -> Add to document -> New document -> New section" from the context menu and generated the document (UnintendedProfileChanges.docx)

Problem:
The removal of the diagrams in step 5 is reverted by step 6, so that the package's diagram is printed for Package1.

I am using eaDocX v3.9.5.1, EA corporate edition 12.0.1215 and Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus 2016.

Is it a known bug and will it be fixed? Is it probably related to www.eadocx.com/forum/2-eadocx-queries/14...ings-are-overwritten?

Thanks and regards
Markus
