Spring has sprung, the grass is ris...

...and eaDocX is waking from it's winter sleep

We will be on the road at several events this spring/summer, so here is a run down of the names, dates and more.

TalksWorkshops and EA Model Surgeries...

"Using Model Driven Analysis"

is the title of the presentation to be given by Ian on March 10th at the Ordnance Survey in Southampton. The event starts at 6.30pm and is free to IIBA members, £10 to non-members. Pop in and see him.

"Becoming a Model Expert"

The Agenda is confirmed and tIckets are now available for the next EA User Group event. This is taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden on April 14th 2016 at the Lindholmen Business Park.

NEW FORMAT: This event provides an opportunity to go deeper with topics. Each speaker will deliver a presentation followed by a workshop to give attendees the chance to experiment and develop the ideas and techniques introduced.

Ian will be presenting on "Becoming a Model Expert" based on his experiences helping a recent customer manage their large, multi-team, multi-location model. He'll follow this with a hands-on workshop session where delegates can learn how to analyse and fix their own EA models for consistency and quality.

Tickets for the day cost €75.00 and are available from now.

EA Surgeries: the Artful Modeller will see you now...

During 2016, eaDocX will be holding "EA Model Surgeries" at EA User Group events.

Offering instant analysis of your model, the Artful Modeller will provide one-to-one consultations, giving advice on how to make your models internally consistent, better quality and easier to share.

Visit us at any EA User Group event to give your model a 20 minute make-over.

Contact us for an appointment or to arrange a longer visit

(You will need to bring your model on a laptop for this consultation. No copy of your model will be taken. All information will remain confidential. If necessary we are happy to work under a signed NDA.)

EAUG Call for Speakers : London and Schiphol

Presentation topics and proposals are now being welcomed for the User Group events in London on May 17th and Schiphol on June 10th 2016.

To encourage a wide range of speakers, London will include a TED talk style track for those who can tell their story in just 17 minutes, as well as 'traditional' 40 minute presentations for a more in depth treatment of topics. As usual the user group community would like to hear a range of stories, covering your experiences, techniques and advice, plus how to integrate EA into the wider business environment,

Sponsored by Hewlett Packard Enterprises, the venue is the CodeNode centre in central London. More...

There will be three tracks of content at the Dutch EAUG event, and you are invited to submit presentations for any one of these tracks:

  • Modelling experiences in EA
  • Howto (changing the functionality of EA or using extensions)
  • EA@ (use cases of EA in various organisations)

Organised by The Future Group, and sponsored by Schiphol Group, the event is planned to be primarily in English. More...

Call for speakers for both events closes on April 2nd. We look forward to seeing you there.
